Boundary Review and Construction Timelines Update – Northglen Neighbourhood School As part of the Resource Committee Report, school board administration shared plans to begin a boundary review in the next school year as part of ongoing planning for a new elementary school in Bowmanville. Administration also updated the Board with revised timelines for completion of the new school. Initially slated to open in September 2024, the targeted completion date has been moved to 2025, with an expected full occupancy by September 2025. Administration identified challenges in the current construction environment for capital projects, including access to labour and materials, as the reason for the changed timeline. |
